為讓校內師生渡過充實寒假，安心返鄉，圖書館特辦理「❄寒假閱讀趣：圖書借期跨寒假活動❄」
To help teachers and students have a fulfilling winter break, the library is organizing the "❄Borrow Books for the Entire Winter Break: Extending Book Borrowing Periods❄" event.

【📌活動內容】
自113年12月23日（一）起借閱圖書，應還日延長至114年2月21日（五）。惟本服務不適用於特殊資料類型借閱、北聯大跨校借閱（請參閱下述活動限制說明）。
【💛貼心提醒】
1.113年12月23日（一）以前借閱圖書應還日不變，系統不會自動延長應還日，有延長借閱需求讀者請於12月24日後自行辦理線上續借或攜帶圖書至圖書館辦理。
👉線上續借方式：館藏查詢系統 > 登入我的書房 > 借閱紀錄/已借閱冊數 > 選擇要續借的書籍 > 續借 *注意*到期前7日才可續借
2.學期末離開校園前請登入我的書房確認圖書借期是否成功延長，避免圖書逾期，影響後續借閱權益。
【📌活動限制】
1.電子書閱讀器iPad、視聽資料：維持原借閱期限7天；教師可借視聽資料14天。
2.被預約書：
(1)借出前，已被其他讀者預約，借期一律縮短為14日。
(2)借出後，才被其他讀者預約，不縮短原借書者借期（至2月21日）。
3.北聯大跨校借閱、館合證、設備（外接式光碟機、計算機、充電組）：不適用借期跨寒假服務。
4.本活動僅適用於本校教師與學生，職員、校友、館際互借等其他身分讀者維持原借期。
【📌借書證效期展延】
若因借書證有效期限導致無法延長圖書借期，請先提出「延長借閱證期限」申請。
【📌寒假期間預約取書、還書FAQ】
1.預約取書期限：為維護預約讀者權益，無法延長預約書取書期限，如收到取書通知後無法到館取書，請於線上辦理「取消預約」，避免被停預約權。
2.無法親自至櫃台還書：若無法親自到館，請透過郵寄方式歸還。（郵戳日視為還書日）。

【📌Content of the service】
Starting from December 23rd (Mon.), borrowing books will have an extended return date until February 21st (Fri.). However, this service is not applicable for specific types of materials borrowing or interlibrary loans with the University System of Taipei-Library Resource Sharing Platform (please refer to the following activity restrictions).
【💛 Friendly Reminder】
1.For books borrowed before December 23rd (Mon.), the return date remains unchanged. The system won't automatically extend the due date. Readers with an extension requirement should renew online or bring the books to the library counter to renew after December 24th.
👉Renewing: Please log in to NTPU library catalog, check out “My library”, and click “My records”/“Loans”.(Renewal is only possible 7 days before the due date.)
2.Before leaving the campus at the end of the semester, please log into 'My Library' to confirm the successful extension of the book borrowing period to avoid overdue books affecting future borrowing privileges.
【📌Limitation of the service】
1. iPads and audio-visual materials: Maintain the original borrowing period of 7 days; teachers can borrow audio-visual materials for 14 days.
2. Reserved books:
(1) Loaned out and reserved by another reader: The borrowing period is uniformly shortened to 14 days.
(2) Loaned out and later reserved by another reader: The original borrower's borrowing period remains unchanged (until February 21st).
3. Interlibrary loans with the University System of Taipei-Library Resource Sharing Platform, Interlibrary Loan Card, equipment (external CD/DVD drives, calculators, charging sets): Not applicable for the extended borrowing period across the winter break service.
4. This activity is only applicable to university teachers and students. Staff, alumni, interlibrary loan readers, and others maintain their original borrowing periods.
【📌Extension of the library card validity period】
If the inability to extend the book borrowing period is due to the library card's validity period, please apply for an extension of the library card validity period first.
【📌FAQ--pick up and return books during the winter vacation】
1.7 days for pick up reserved books: To maintain the rights of reserved readers, the hold period for reserved books cannot be extended. If unable to pick up the book after receiving a notification email, please cancel the reservation online to avoid suspension of reservation rights.
2.If you are unable to return the book at the counter in person, please return via mail (the postmark date is regarded as the return date). The address information is as follows:
